Yeah that is true, about hearing only JAWS or whatever. But that is good when voice chat is used and you can let JAWS take a rest for a little.

O YEAH. JAWS OR WHATEVER SCREEN READER WORK VERY HARD FOR ALL OF US DAY AND NIGHT THOUGH.

it is very true that a screen reader is the one relaying all the messages, especially in the case of people who are close, and it would be fair to say that the way jaws speaks can be deceptive .. some things can come out totally different to the way you actually meant them.

Yeah, I love going on the internet and stuff, but the reality of it is, jaws gets really annoying after a while.

Well, no matter what when you're on this site, and you are posting a message on the boards or a quicknote, it doesn't matter what screen reader you use. You're communicating and that's the important idea.

Hi season,
Well in my opinion, there can be disadvantages and advantages of mister jaws or mister window eyes relaying what people say. Voice chat can be nice for hearing the persons' natural voice, because sometimes jaws can't do a persons voice justice, yet when I'm being ganged up on, or having a confrontation with people, I feel relieved that I'm hearing jaws voice instead of the persons voice, because no matter how infuriated the person is, jaws is always cool, calm, and impersonal. But also, there some remarks that can sound meaner than the person intended, which if we could hear their tone of voice, we'd probably know it wasn't meant the way it sounded. Sometimes it can be a disadvantage not being able to hear the persons voice, and sometimes it's an advantage, and a huge relief.

I agree with WW. Sometimes Voice Chat can be cool but soemtimes text chat can be too. I personally don't mind the synths voices.

Hi season, it's topics like yours and inesles, that keep me coming back on the other boards, when I might otherwise not post at all, except on the safe haven board. The only reason I didn't include you in this Caitlin is you help keep the safe haven board alive, when I run dry of topics, and it might otherwise fail. Even I , as much as I like to talk, run dry of topics, hahaha.
